Register Before It Is Too Late
Fort Lauderdale, FL – US Solar Institute (USSI) is the region’s most respected solar training center, and its classes are well on their way to being sold out completely. Just like every other session, the school’s capacity fills up weeks before the class actually starts. With four weeks remaining, more than half of the
seats have already been taken up by students from all over the world. We have students coming from the Middle East, South America, Caribbean, and several different states in the Union. With limited capacity, updated curriculum, and newly acquired equipment, our training program is set to be the most advanced and up-
Broken down into four different courses, USSI’s training program encompasses all aspects of solar PV design and installation. Ranging from basic introduction and history of solar, to hands-on, real-world training, each and every student is exposed to every step in the solar cycle. The program starts with the
assumption that participants have no knowledge in the industry and guid
es them into solar proficiency. Designed as an accelerated program, USSI’s Diploma in Solar Design and Installation is perfect for those who are interested in advancing their careers or entering a new path, all in a short period of time that
will not take you out of the work force for more than 3 weeks at a time.
Here at USSI, we place great pride in providing the most robust training and learning experience for our students. Each in-person class is one week long, from Monday through Friday, and runs from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. It resembles the schedule of a full-time employee and has a one-hour lunch break in the middle. The courses can be taken back to back if chosen or broken down throughout the year.
The course breakdown is below:
PV101: online course for $99
PV201: Introduction to PV Design and Installation, $1,495, Aug 6 – Aug 10
PV301: Advanced Solar Design, $1,995, Aug 13 – Aug 17
PV401: on-The-Job Training, $1,995, Aug 20 – Aug 24
Students ask us all the time: will we be really prepared to design and instal
l a solar system in just three weeks? Well, no school can make you an expert in such a short period of time, but we do give you the skills and knowledge required to enter and succeed in a dynamic and exciting growing industry. You will be shown how to determine how many panels are needed, size up a system, price it up, design the racking and electrical diagram, and sell it, just to name a few key points. The last course is the most interesting one; you, the student, are taken to a live project site and you get to participate in an engineered and permitted solar system. One thing is to be in a controlled environment with fans and AC, and another one is being on top of a roof for 8 hours a day. It is way
different, and that is what sets USSI apart - we show you what the industry really is like.
