The Building Audit Specialist (BAS) at ReVision Energy is responsible for gathering, recording and communicating critical lighting and electrical information for the use in design and estimating of commercial lighting retrofit projects. This position will include taking accurate measurements inside and outside of our customer’s facilities. This includes taking inventory of existing lighting fixtures, documenting existing lighting levels, taking interior and exterior photographs, and creating existing lighting layout plans. The BAS will work in conjunction with engineering and sales teams and will work as a member of the LED Lighting Retrofit division

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to):
• Perform on-site lighting audits of existing building systems; primarily lighting and electrical systems
•  Conduct physical site surveys using a variety of tools and equipment including, but not limited to, light meters, measuring devices,
         hand tools, ladders, personal protective equipment, and more.
• Document the project site with photos and layout drawings
• Create site maps as required by the project
• Complete, by hand and/or electronically, Lighting Project Intake Form and other necessary documents
• Upload required information in a timely manner to ReVision Energy database
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers via phone and in person

• Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to maintain a DOT card
• Competence with hand tools
• Comfortably able to climb ladders
• Strong competence with computer software including, Excel, Word, E-mail, and web based applications
• Professionalism- must be comfortable with customer interaction and be able to communicate expectations effectively.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (desired but not required):
• Experience in lighting design standards and codes
• Experience in lighting design and drafting software including AutoCAD and AGI32
• Licensed electrician or two-year electrical technical degree
