REPVO: Online Fundamentals of PV Design & Installation
NOTE: This course covers all topics included in the NABCEP Associate Learning Objectives
This 6-week online class is the REPV course equivalent with the hands-on installation day taken separately. The first lecture is a live session from 12pm to 2:30pm on the first day of class. Subsequent lectures are pre-recorded weekly and there are live "office hours" every week at a time at will be announced during the first week. In addition to the pre-recorded lectures and live FAQ sessions, there are reading, exercise and quiz requirements.
The online lectures of the REPV workshop are dedicated to the technical aspect of photovoltaics, including system types, components, applications, and best practices for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
After completing this class, we highly recommend you register for the 1 day companion hands-on PV installation class. Led by an instructor, you will install a fully operational,
grid-tied residential PV system at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center training annex. This hands-on companion workshop will be offered at the conclusion of the Online REPV course.
