This course qualifies for 40 hours of advanced training required for the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification Exam. Topics covered, include the National Electrical Code (NEC), design, installation, commissioning, and sales to prepare for the NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification exam. In order to complete this course, you'll need to purchase a copy of Sean White's "Solar PV Engineering and Installation" (2015). You'll get access to detailed information and test-taking strategies specifically focused on the exam. There are required readings from the book in each week of the course.

This course includes many references to the National Electrical Code (NEC). It may be helpful for you to get a copy of the 2017 NEC. It's important to note that NABCEP has now adopted the 2017 NEC for use on the PV Installation Professional certification exam. If you are planning to take the April 2018 exam or after, you will need to prepare using the 2017 NEC.
