[Estero, FL] TerraSmart has launched a fleet of High Precision Aerial Site Mapping (HPASM) service drones to measure topographical data and streamline site mapping for ground-mount PV plants. Flying the HPASM drones 200 feet–400 feet above a project site, TerraSmart’s survey teams can map a site and provide 3D CAD models to the EPC firm for optimizing array and racking system layouts. The drones can cover 50 acres–80 acres in an hour and can map, process images and create a detailed site topography for a 5 MW plant in only 48 hours.
