| • Generate commercial leads • Promptly contact pre-qualified leads and assess their potential to move forward based on finances and site conditions • Conduct site evaluations for preliminary system design and proposal preparation • Communicate with Project Manager and designer regarding system design • Prepare and present final proposal and pricing to prospects in a prompt manner • Educate customers about product features and the benefits of owning a solar electrical system • Close deals and sign contracts • Document all communication with customers in contact database • Track ongoing projects regarding payment schedules • Maintain ongoing client relationships after the sale • Maintain a solid knowledge base of local code requirements, products, roofing processes, solar installation practices, and industry norms • Attend local tradeshows and evening and weekend sales appointments as required • Assist Marketing Coordinator with development of advertisements and marketing materials
About the Position :
• Primary compensation is commission with allowances for cell phone, travel, and expenses. Excellent health care benefits. • Report directly to company owner • Position based in Portland, OR area covering NW Oregon.
