Advanced Solar Tech
Must have a thorough understanding of electrical theory, NEC Code and applied techniques. Journeyman certification or NABCEP certification gets preference.
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical components and systems with a high degree of aptitude working independently, or when necessary, in conjunction with manufacturer's technical support team.
Must be able to review plans or understand decisions made in the field to build systems that are mechanically excellent, of the highest workmanship, aesthetically pleasing, and optimally functional.
Must have an in depth understanding of the performance characteristics of various components of a solar system and how they interrelate. Must have knowledge of advanced wiring methods.
Must be capable of working independently, under minimal supervision and provide direction to other crew members.
Must have a clean driving record, and be able to safely operate service trucks or other company vehicles.
Must be physically able to lift 70 lbs.
