Solar Photovoltaic Principles and Applications

Participants receive 60 hours of training providing the fundamental knowledge and skills for becoming part of the solar energy workforce. The course teaches the principles of solar photovoltaics, related electrical theory, essential design considerations, basic installation, and performance factors. Participants receive preparation for and take the NABCEP Entry Level exam during the course. It also provides a unique opportunity for real-life experience installing a few residential system during the course with GRID Alternatives. This additional 6 days of hands-on brings the course total to over 100 hours. Textbook, test fee, course materials and 3 hands on installations, all supplied with the cost of the course.
