How long will it take to review my subscription
application?
Most subscription applications are
reviewed and approved immediately. Some, however, may take one or two
business days. If you're anxious to get started reading SolarPro, click here to download sample articles or a
complete sample back issue.
When can I expect to receive the first issue of my
subscription?
If your online subscription
application is approved, you can login and receive immediate access
to the current issue and all back issues of SolarPro in
downloadable PDF or in HTML. SolarPro's print edition is
delivered to U.S. addresses based on the following approximate
schedule. If your subscription application (or renewal) is approved
before the 15th of any even-numbered month, your first print edition
will arrive by mail around the 15th of the subsequent (odd-numbered)
month. For example, subscription applications approved before April
15th, will receive their first issue around May 15th. The short
answer is that you can expect your first print issue to arrive in as
little as four weeks or in as long as twelve weeks.
How
often is SolarPro published?
Six times each
year in both print and digital editions.
When will subsequent print issues of SolarPro be delivered?
You'll usually see SolarPro in your mailbox between the 8th and 20th of the month preceding that
issue's cover date. For example, the Dec/Jan issue will be delivered
in November. Due to a number of magazine production variables, each
issue's arrival date will vary from one to the next.
How
much does a subscription cost?
SolarPro is
free to qualifying individuals. Likewise, renewals are free to
qualifying individuals.
Who can qualify for a subscription to SolarPro?
Qualifying subscribers are actively
employed in the solar industry or a closely related field.
I was notified that my subscription application was not
approved. Why is that?
In order to maintain our free
subscription policy, SolarPro relies entirely on its
advertising sales to pay the bills. In turn, we promise our
advertisers a stringently pre-qualified audience of readers, ensuring
them premium advertising value. Less rigid subscriber acceptance
standards are costly for us and diminish the high-quality advertising
environment we insist on providing.
Can non-qualifying individuals purchase a subscription
to SolarPro?
Not at this time. However,
unless you request otherwise, we'll retain your email address (only)
in order to notify you if this option is available in the future.
Do you offer free sample copies to prospective
subscribers or the general public?
Yes, you can
download a sample copy of SolarPro in PDF (and browse
additional sample content) by clicking here. We cannot provide
individual sample copies of the print edition.
How
can I get back issues of SolarPro?
All SolarPro subscribers have access to the full back
issue archive online. Print edition back issues are not available
and cannot be purchased at this time. If that changes, we'll be sure
to notify all subscribers in turn.
How do I change my subscription mailing address or other
account information?
Simply log
in, visit the My
Account page, and click on the appropriate link in the "Your
Profile" subsection.
Will I be notified when it is time to renew my annual
subscription?
Yes. Whether you are subscribed to our
print or digital edition, we will remind you via email when your
subscription is due to expire. Subscription renewal is not possible
prior to 30 days before your expiration date and simply involves
verifying/updating your previous application information.
Is it possible to sign up for both the print edition and the digital edition?
Yes. When you subscribe to the print edition, you will be given a solarprofessional.com
login. This login will enable you to view all magazine content on the
Web site including the complete digital edition. In other words,
print edition subscribers are actually subscribed to both
versions.
Can I subscribe
for multiple years at once?
No. All subscribers are
required to re-qualify annually, but we make it very easy for you to
do so. Your annual renewal simply involves verifying/updating your
previous application information. If none of your information has
changed since the previous year, the renewal process should only
require a single click.
How can I switch between digital and print edition
subscriptions?
Simply log in, visit the My
Account page, and click on "Switch to a Print [Digital]
Subscription".
Is SolarPro available for retail purchase on
newsstands?
No. SolarPro is available by
subscription only. However, sample copies are frequently available at
industry events and trainings.
How can I add my business to the online business
directory?
You must first be a SolarPro subscriber before you can create a business directory listing. Once
you're subscribed to SolarPro, simply log in, visit the My
Account page, and click on "Create New Directory
Listing."
How
can I add a listing to the Training/Jobs/Events/Press Headlines
page?
You must first be a SolarPro subscriber
before you can create any of these listings. Once you're subscribed to SolarPro, simply log in, visit the My
Account page and click on "Create New Directory
Listing." Once you've created your business directory listing,
your My
Account page displays options that allow you to create new
training, job, event and press headline listings.
How can I get my training listed in the print edition of SolarPro?
Trainings listed in the print
edition of SolarPro are comprised of those courses posted to
our online
training calendar by subscribers and are not accepted via other
avenues. On or near the 15th of each odd-numbered month, we compile
all listings from our online training calendar that have start dates
beginning with the first month of the next SolarPro issue.
For example, on or near March 15th, we compile all online training
listings with start dates on or after June 1st for publication in the
June/July print edition of SolarPro. Each print edition
lists a total of four months of training dates, on a space available
basis, starting with the issue date. So the June/July edition
includes training dates that fall in June, July, August and
September. Effectively, your training must be posted to our online
training calendar a MINIMUM of 11 weeks prior to its start
date in order to appear in a print edition of SolarPro.
